- Relatively small collection (20,000 items)
- Search can be more general to find many materials to look through
- Use subject category links with items to expand to related materials
- Look at call numbers and relate that to browsing at other libraries
- Make sure we have it "IN" before looking for it.
- Citations available for "Quick Cite" by clicking on titles for full record

- Database of curated collections
- All full-text books, magazines, journals, newspapers, photographs, transcripts, and videos
- Citations available for "Quick Cite"
3 - Badgerlink (www.badgerlink.net) FREE for Wisconsin Residents
Summary
- 8,000+ full text magazines, 6,800+ full text books, 4,500+ full text newspapers (~3,000 historical)
- *Most access issues can be solved by logging in with your Wisconsin zip code
- Use advanced search tools / be specific
- Start search as a Student -> High School for more journals such as Academic Search Premier
- Limit your results using check boxes under Advanced Search to include: Full-text and Scholarly articles
- School account available; see Mrs. Weaver to have titles placed on hold and brought to school if you do not live in Racine County.
- Public libraries from 4 counties included in the search (ILL is an option)
- Find out if they have the book and if it is available.
Summary
- Start with the SRC catalog, ProQuest, and Badgerlink. Use your login for the catalog to place SRC materials on hold.
- Keep track of your sources using NoodleTools. Remember to use the "Quick Cite" feature when your citations are provided by the catalogs and databases. Use MLA formatting. If you are unsure how to cite a source, follow the prompts in NoodleTools.
- Return your materials to the right library!
