For your classroom, storytime, or snuggling with your little ones, you must check out Joseph Kuefler's beautiful picture books - Beyond the Pond and Rulers of the Playground!  He has 3 to 4 more books in the works too so keep your eyes open.  In both books, the images are sure to delight and the messages included are ones that will lead to great discussions.

Recently, about a dozen of our 7th and 8th grade students attended English Fest at UW-Parkside.  Each student read 6 of the required books and had the chance to spend the day participating in fun workshops like Skyping with an author, creating a writing journal, and solving a Breakout box game.
